I AM NOT A FEMINIST

I AM NOT A FEMINIST

  •  (Relevant for Sociology Syllabus: Paper 2- Challenges of Social Transformation)
  • (Relevant for GS Syllabus: Paper1- Social empowerment)
  • I am not a feminist. yes, I am not a feminist, if a feminist is one who wants to rule over men, to exploit them on the name of equal rights. Of course, we all need equal rights in society to live happily, to develop our lives, but don’t forget the word “EQUAL”.
  • Equality is meant for everyone beyond gender discrimination. ‘Feminism’ a movement was started to raise the voice for women’s rights…Equal rights in the society, not to fight for seizing the rights of males in society, not to make them assailants by playing the “rights” card as they have been doing with women since long ago.
  • Ultimately it will lead us to that day when we will be having another ‘ism’ fighting for men’s rights. there is no need of any ‘ism’ or movement in this world to spread love, equality, freedom or peace, nor by women neither by men.
  • The politics of all these movements or ‘isms’ leads us to the negative path with a start of attractive slogans expressing good intentions.
  • I really don’t find any need of any rules to provide equal freedom and rights to live, but they always have been brought in the light because humans played political cards to rule over another gender in the society whether a man or a woman, whenever they got any chance. though it’s true that women’s exploitation was long and painful.
  • Maybe this is the reason they have started to misuse their rights today.it seems like they want to take revenge on the name of equality. but we need to think seriously, is there any need to make life more difficult, more bitter by making rules, more and more…Seriously, NO. there’s no need to raise any voice against any way of the structure of society if we all start to think about gender and its role.
  • why do we always create discrimination between sex which is completely a biological phenomenon? But roles and rights in the world should not be discriminated against on the basis of gender. there needs to be only one rule, one right for all, that is to be loving human beings, nothing else because no rule can survive where love remains.
  • Love for all is the supreme ruler of all the rules. though it seems very philosophical to imagine such a world where no one wants to rule over another.
  • In the real if it would have been happening, no movement was raised. but to live happily is the ultimate goal for all of us whether rules or by mutual understanding.
