STRUGGLING WOMEN

#BeingwomeninIndia

Why we always discuss women should work with freedom, they should be given equal rights, the has the right to choose their future they are equally responsible for the society. Is anything bad or worse in it? Why we are discussing this after having the independence of 67 Years? Because our society is not ready to accept them a competitor to men. We have to accept this bitter truth that we are in fear of having defeat by women. Hindu mythology has given a status of goodness people worship when we came in the world what we see Diwry, female infanticide, sati pratha, child marriage. I mean how can a society be so cruel. Intellectuals always dissent with these issues. In some countries, women were not allowed to vote. In the last Olympics, the medals India won were only taken by women NO men won any medals. Scientist like Kalpana Chawla makes this nation proud. Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita sen, Priyanka Chopra won the prominent title in world and male this country proud. But why society didn’t accept girls I am still searching for this answer.

In a country where we are celebrating women empowerment, wherein we are facilitating the girl child with hashtags like #betibachaobetipadhao #womensrights #womenpower, how did the High Court ‘Epitome of Justice’ grant a divorce based on a woman not wearing materialistic symbols of marriage?

It is an extreme setback to all of us Indians. For, if we still live in the world of Patriarchy, no amount of women empowerment is going to take place. The shuffling needs to happen at the grass-root level.

Men are physically stronger than them but that doesn’t mean they have something superior. Did ever women said she can give birth to a child, they should be treated superior. NO NEVER.

This immoral behaviour of society can only be changed when we have more conscious and educated minds. Education is the only way which balances this inequality in the world. Apart from fighting and pulling others down if we work as a team, nobody in this world can compete with India because if we don’t use half minds(women) how can a nation develop. That combined workforce may accelerate India towards a global leader.

I once read, “If a man expects a woman to be an angel in his life, he must first create a heaven for her. For Angels don’t live in Hell.”
