“You weren’t born to live a life of frustration and failure. God brought you into this world to fight with courage until each and every one of your battles is won. So always keep your mind strong, head up, and keep on fighting.” “Nothing worth doing ever, ever, ever came easy.”

Varun was unable to clear the exam in his first attempt. “This did not discourage him and he worked harder and secured the 166th rank in his second attempt. Discontented, he gave the third try and got the 225th rank. Finally, at the fourth attempt, he placed seventh all over the country, and topped among the two states,” said Dr. Reddy.

Civil Services Examination (CSE) is regarded as one of the toughest examinations in India owing to its vast syllabus, less achievement rate, an increasing number of unsuccessful attempts by thousands of students, Complexity involved in each stage of examination, etc. However, there also exist candidates who have cleared the examination in their first attempts at a very young age although CSE not only tests a candidate’s knowledge but also his/her writing skills and personality test.
