Himadri Kaushik, the only daughter of Rajiv Kaushik, former chief engineer of Rajpur Road Enclave, has made history by making success for the second time and secured 97th rank in Civil Services Examination.
The special thing is that she did not give up economics in her entire studies.
Her Study Background
Her father, Rajeev Kaushik said, “From class seven, it was very nice to read economics from Himadri. In this, she achieved 98.7 percent marks.”
Later, she got 97.3 percent marks from Jaipur and cleared her 12th exams. During both the examinations, Himadri did not abandon economics. After that, she studied the degree of Chemical Engineering and MSc Economics of BITS Pilani Goa.
She studied for CSE but unfortunately didn’t make it in her first attempt. So, in her second attempt, she worked really hard and finally passed the Civil Services Examination.
Nowadays, she is getting income tax training as an Assistant Commissioner in Nagpur.
Family is Proud
Father Rajiv Kaushik said that she was always out for the job. Therefore, Himadri’s mother Lalita Kaushik raised her up. She taught the only child and today the daughter has brightened the name, so she is proud of her hard work and her daughter.
Himadree is a married woman now and her husband, Ayush Sinha, is also an IAS officer of Haryana cadre. Ayush had secured the seventh rank in the country for the last year’s Civil Services Examination.
The grand success of Himadree has made everybody proud, especially his grandfather Dr. JP Sharma. He says that her granddaughter has not only illuminated the name of the state but also his name. They are proud of their child.
