  • For Modi manifesto isn’t just set of slogans instead its a blueprint of a future slog. It’s evident may it be Article 370, triple talaq, Citizenship Amendment Act and now it’s doubling of farmers income.
  • Modi who like his predecessors didn’t restrict farmers for loan waivers and reaping votes as result rather kept his words to raise farmers income.
  • With his initiative called “Beej se bazar Tak” he made sure soil quality being tested so that farmer can add only necessary nutrients to the soil instead of wasting his money on already existing nutrients. Distribution of soil health cards is a commendable job.
  • Once the soil is enriched then the facility was made to let farmers reap more crops per drop and provision was made to avail crop insurance to the farmers so that he will no longer be a stake in the gambling of monsoon.
  • Long-standing demand for MSP as recommended by Swaminathan was also fulfilled by none other than Modi. Prime Minister also give a digital touch to Agri markets through e – NAM.
  • Now a triangular reform of making farmers contented is being painted as if contentious, as it was done in case of citizenship bill a false perception is being created.
  • No individual in the opposition is either bothered to understand the bill or despite being aware of the pro-farmer provisions is misleading the citizens. Both of which is is not a healthy development.
  • To put it in a language a layman can understand the first bill is aimed at relieving farmers from the clutches of middlemen. This enables farmers to get a fair price in a reasonable time to their produce.
  • Another bill moulds the local farmer into global by letting him enter into a contract with corporates. Leaders in the opposition are not just depriving farmers of getting competitive price but also villainizing the corporates as if they are meant to loot farmers.
  • And the III bill is to repeal the restrictions imposed on hoarding in the name of food security. To sum it up the first one gets rid of middlemen the second one enables farmers to get competitive price and the last one removes restrictions on stockholding
  • As usual hypocrisy of the opposition is on LimeLight in a book named “We Will Deliver”, which as they call is their manifesto removal of APMC is mentioned.
  • The opposition doesn’t reckon sweat and blood behind their staples, at least it would have been better had they not been a red beacon in the progress of farmers.
  • Erudite people should spread awareness among farmers by throwing light on truths and thwarting the myths. Jai Kisan.
