More than 60 % of the population is held in India.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.toiimg.com\/img\/77499547\/Master.jpg\" alt=\"World Elephant Day: Govt sets tech-driven norms to help reduce man-elephant  conflict | India News - Times of India\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Indian Elephant has also been listed in the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Appendix I of the Convention of the Migratory species<\/strong><\/span> in the recently concluded Conference of Parties of CMS 13 at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat in February 2020.
