\u2022 Prime Minister participated in the Virtual Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit through Video Conferencing on May 4, 2020. The summit discussed the enhanced coordination of the member states in their fight against the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

\"Non<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a forum of 120 developing world states that are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 NAM represents the biggest grouping of countries outside the United Nations comprising 120 developing countries from Asia, Africa and Latin America.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Drawing on the principles agreed at the Bandung Conference in 1955, the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries was founded on a wider geographical basis at the First Summit Conference of Belgrade, which was held on September 1-6, 1961.<\/p>\n

\u2022 India is one of the founding members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which was established in 1961 with 29 members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
