{"id":7403,"date":"2020-04-04T17:55:22","date_gmt":"2020-04-04T12:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/?p=7403"},"modified":"2020-04-04T17:55:22","modified_gmt":"2020-04-04T12:25:22","slug":"jammu-and-kashmir-sets-up-pmru-of-nppa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/jammu-and-kashmir-sets-up-pmru-of-nppa\/","title":{"rendered":"Jammu and Kashmir sets up PMRU of NPPA"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"hero-section\" data-type=\"type-1\" data-alignment=\"left\">\n<header class=\"entry-header\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Relevance: Prelims: Economy<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why in news?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">\u2022 Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has become 12th State where the Price Monitoring and Resource Unit (PMRU) has been set up by National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<\/section>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>\u2022 PMRUs have already been set up by NPPA in 11 States, including, Kerala, Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Nagaland, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Mizoram.<\/p>\n<p><b>About:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The PMRU, a registered society, shall function under the direct control and supervision of State Drug Controller of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The unit shall be funded by NPPA for its recurring and non-recurring expenses.
