It will act as a platform to explore the talent of outshining and meritorious students, and help them achieve excellence in their specific area of interest.<br \/>\n\u2022<strong> Shagun:<\/strong> One of World\u2019s largest Integrated Online Junction for \u2013 School Education \u2018Shagun\u2019 is an overarching initiative to improve school education system by creating a junction for all online portals and websites relating to various activities of the Department of School Education and Literacy.<br \/>\n\u2022 Report cards of 15 lakh schools all over the country will be available on the newly created junction. Common people can directly give their feedback about schools which will further increase the<br \/>\npublic participation and will ensure accountability and transparency.<br \/>\n\u2022 Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+): To ensure quality, credibility and timely availability of information from all the schools in the country,<br \/>\nthe revamped UDISE+ has been launched. The Data Analytics portal gives information about the aggregated position of the school.<br \/>\n\u2022 Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing (DIKSHA) 2.0: It was launched in 2017 for providing digital platform to teachers giving them an opportunity to learn and train themselves and connect with teacher community.<br \/>\n\u2022<strong> Operation Digital Board (ODB):<\/strong> The aim is to provide by March 2023, two smart classrooms for every Secondary\/Senior Secondary schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/education-policy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6680\" src=\"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/education-policy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"759\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/education-policy.jpg 759w, https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/education-policy-150x83.jpg 150w, https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/education-policy-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 759px) 100vw, 759px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Key Reforms in Higher Education:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Five-year vision plan \u2018Education Quality Upgradation and Inclusion Programme\u2019 (EQUIP)<\/strong>: EQUIP is a vision plan aiming at ushering transformation in India\u2019s higher education system by<br \/>\nimplementing strategic interventions in the sector over five years (2019-24).<br \/>\n\u2022<strong> Institution of Eminence (IoE):<\/strong> Ten institutions in public sector and 10 institutions in private sector have to be declared as IoE. Each IoE will be eligible to receive Rs. 1000 crore during next 5 years.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>SWAYAM 2.0:<\/strong> It is initiated with enhanced features and facilities to offer online degree programmes through SWAYAM by top ranking universities.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>SWAYAM PRABHA<\/strong> \u2013 DTH Educational Channels: It is a project to telecast high-quality educational programs through 32 DTH channels on 24\/7 basis to reach out to students\/learners of India with wide reach and minimal cost.
