Indian actress Deepika Padukone will be given a WEF crystal award for her work on mental health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>About:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1971 at Cologny-Geneva in Switzerland.<\/li>\n<li>Under the Swiss Host-State Act, it is recognized as an International Institution for Public-Private Cooperation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Mission:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Davos meet:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annually, it organizes a meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in Graub\u00fcnden, in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland.<\/li>\n<li>The meeting brings together some 2,500 top business leaders, international political leaders, economists for up to four days to discuss the pressing global issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Reports published:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It also produces a series of annual reports such as \u2013 Global Competitiveness Report, Global Information Technology Report, Global Gender Gap Report, Global Risks Report,<br \/>\n\u2022 Global Travel and Tourism Report, Financial Development Report and Global Enabling Trade Report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Relevance: Current Affairs: Mains: G.S paper II: International institutions and reports Why in news?
