{"id":363,"date":"2018-04-09T12:02:44","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T06:32:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/?p=363"},"modified":"2018-04-12T13:11:20","modified_gmt":"2018-04-12T07:41:20","slug":"gagan-shakti-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/gagan-shakti-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Gagan Shakti Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>With an eye on the two-front threat posed by China and Pakistan ,the<strong> Indian Air Force (IAF)<\/strong> is going to conduct its biggest ever combat exercise <strong>Gagan Shakti<\/strong> along <strong>Pakistan and China borders<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The exercise- Gagan Shakti, 2018- will be taking place between April 10 to 23.<\/li>\n<li>The exercise will be conducted in two separate phases for western and northern borders across India and deep over the Indian waters.<\/li>\n<li>More than 15,000 IAF personnel, including 300 officers, will move from their bases during the exercise which will see the involvement of over 1,100 aircraft.<\/li>\n<li>Although Gagan Shakti, a force level exercise, is conducted every two years, this is the first time indigenously manufactured <strong>Tejas LCA<\/strong> fighter jets will participate in the exercise.
