{"id":331,"date":"2018-04-06T21:21:08","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T15:51:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/?p=331"},"modified":"2018-04-06T21:23:53","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T15:53:53","slug":"india-uae-to-cooperate-in-rail-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/triumphias.com\/blog\/india-uae-to-cooperate-in-rail-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"India, UAE to Cooperate In Rail Sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The Union Cabinet, chaired by\u00a0Prime Minister\u00a0Narendra\u00a0Modi, apprised of an agreement between\u00a0India\u00a0and\u00a0United Arab Emirates\u00a0(UAE) on technical cooperation in rail sector recently.<\/li>\n<li>The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on February 10, 2018 and it will provide a platform to Indian Railways to interact and share the latest developments and knowledge in the railway sector.<\/li>\n<li>The MoU will enable technical cooperation in regulation, safety and technical investigation of accidents; station redevelopment; locomotives, coaches and wagons; and any other area jointly identified by the participants, it said.<\/li>\n<li>The agreement signed between the\u00a0UAE&#8217;s Federal Transport Authority\u00a0&#8211; Land and\u00a0Maritime and India&#8217;s Railway Ministry\u00a0will facilitate exchange of information, expert meetings, seminars, technical visits and implementation of jointly agreed cooperation projects.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0Ministry of Railways\u00a0have signed MoUs for technical cooperation in the rail sector with various foreign governments and national railways.
