But sociologically, mental health is not just about individual psychology \u2014 it is shaped by <strong>structural realities<\/strong>: poverty, unemployment, inequality, domestic violence, and social exclusion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">In India, these factors intersect sharply. Economic distress, gender inequality, and caste discrimination amplify vulnerability, especially among farmers, homemakers, and students. The <strong>NCRB\u2019s 2023 data<\/strong> reveal that <strong>men account for nearly 73% of suicides<\/strong>, largely due to job insecurity, debt, and social pressures. The digital age thus presents a paradox \u2014 as people grow more connected, they also grow more isolated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Regulating digital mental health platforms is now essential.
