The urban working class faces poor housing, low wages, and lack of access to basic services, while the middle and upper classes enjoy gated communities and private amenities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">The <strong>gig economy<\/strong> has given rise to a new working class. Delivery workers, ride-hailing drivers, and freelancers face job insecurity, long hours, and no social protection.
