Families struggling to meet basic needs often rely on their children\u2019s income for survival. This leads to children working in <strong>brick kilns, beedi-making units, roadside dhabas, or farms<\/strong>\u2014sacrificing their <strong>right to education and childhood<\/strong> in the process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong> Lack of Access to Quality Education: <\/strong>Despite the <strong>Right to Education Act<\/strong>, millions of children are <strong>out of school due to poor infrastructure, understaffed schools, and long travel distances<\/strong>. Additionally<strong>, lack of inclusive and engaging learning environments<\/strong> often leads to high dropout rates, pushing children into the workforce instead of classrooms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong> Cultural Normalization and Social Hierarchies: <\/strong>In many communities, especially among <strong>marginalized caste groups, child labour is culturally normalized<\/strong>. Children are expected to follow in their <strong>family\u2019s occupational footsteps\u2014be it manual scavenging, artisanal work, or domestic labour<\/strong>\u2014thus perpetuating cycles of inequality and social stagnation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong> Urban Informal Sector and Migration:<\/strong> <strong>Rural distress and lack of employment<\/strong> push families to migrate to urban areas, where children often end up working in the unregulated informal sector. When <strong>children are excluded from education and meaningful social roles<\/strong>, they become vulnerable to deviant paths like exploitative labour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong> Marxist Indian Perspective: A.R. Desai<\/strong> argued that <strong>India\u2019s semi-feudal and capitalist economy<\/strong> perpetuates <strong>systemic exploitation,<\/strong> where landlessness and caste oppression push lower-caste children into labour.
