This phenomenon, termed menstrual poverty<\/strong>, exposes the glaring gap between India\u2019s developmental aspirations and the lived realities of its women. However, these institutions perpetuate menstrual taboos instead of breaking them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong> Feminist Perspective: Radical Feminists<\/strong> argue that period poverty is a form of systemic gender oppression that <strong>restricts women&#8217;s autonomy and access to education and work<\/strong>.
