style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These incidents reflect <\/span><b>a growing tension between individual choices and traditional Indian family values<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>As UPSC aspirants studying family and kinship, social deviance, and gender roles,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it becomes essential to sociologically examine such tragedies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <\/span><b>the age of social media and increasing urban anonymity, extra-marital affairs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are no longer uncommon. However, Indian society\u2014largely driven by <\/span><b>patriarchal norms and conservative moral codes\u2014<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">continues to <\/span><b>stigmatize them.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This <\/span><b>duality between modern individualism and traditional collectivism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> often creates <\/span><b>intense psychological and
