This statement comes just ahead of the March 15-17 elections, where Putin is widely expected to secure another six-year term in office<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">What happens if nuclear weapons are used?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><strong>Immediate impacts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"> A single nuclear weapon can devastate a city, killing most residents.
