It implies that <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">modernity doesn&#8217;t necessarily disrupt all aspects of traditional social structures<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">. Family connections, privileges of caste and status, as well as the willingness to break every law in the book characterise our social relations very deeply<\/strong>.
